Based on many years of experience the e-Business Solutions team has created an e-BS WorkflowSystem platform (electronic document circulation) for the optimization of business processes.

e-BS WorkflowSystem is a very scalable solution that enables an easy and flexible implementation of any document circulation process. The e-BS Workflow system is a platform intended for a simple as well as very complicated and unconventional document circulation. Thanks to Microsoft technology our platform is ideal for elaborating and implementing a document circulation that is tailored to the special demands of the client.

e-BS Workflow is a document circulation system that is based on web-solution. The user interface is an internet application, which is accessed through an internet browser. Using web-technology has many advantages:

  • The user does not have to download any extra applications. An internet browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or other is sufficient.
  • The operating logic of the application is located in one place – on the server. Such a solution significantly decreases maintenance and service costs of the application and equipment.
  • The system can be accessed from any place. All you need is an internet connection.

The possibilities of the e-BS Workflow platform:

Thanks to applying our solution, the implementation costs of any new document circulation process are significantly reduced.

Technology

e-BS Workflow is designed and programmed with the use of the following technologies:

  • Microsoft .NET 3.5 , ASP.NET – the newest version of the Microsoft Application Platform
  • Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) – a structure that enables users to create system or human work flows
  • Visual Studio 2008 Workflow Designer – a visual document circulation process creator that supports projecting sequential and status document circulation processes and gives many possibilities of adjusting the workflow system by introducing the possibility of adding a personal code to each task in the workflow
  • MS SQL Server – a professional and very efficient server database developed by Microsoft
  • Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) – application architecture based on WCF services that facilitate scaling the system
  • AJAX – technology that improves user interface ergonomics

System architecture

e-BS Workflow is a platform that is composed out of three basic elements:

  1. WorkflowLogic – responsible for the workflow logic and modeling the Workflow system. This element is based on the Framework Microsoft Workflow Foundation.
  2. DocumentRepository – a repository of documents that are subject to circulation.
  3. Intranet – user interface based on an internet browser that enables user interaction with the document circulation. Moreover, intranet gives access to a number of essential modules used in Workflow, such as: organization structure, reports, entitlement management.
